The Colony of Avalon Gift Shop is open in season. However, orders
are filled year-round via fax, telephone, mail or email. For information

Opening Hours
Our facilities are open from May 19th - October 5th for the 2007 season. Services are offered seven days a week, including holidays.
Hours of operation: 7 days a week.
May 19th to July 1st, 2007 (10:00 am - 5:00 pm)
July 2nd to September 2nd, 2007 (9:00 am - 7:00 pm)
September 3rd to October 5th, 2007 (10:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Tours
Guided tours are offered seven days a week including holidays. The tour is approximately one hour long and covers the Archaeological Site, the Interpretation Centre and Conservation Laboratory. The 17th Century Kitchen and the Gardens are also included in the tour. All tours must first register at the Interpretation Centre. We suggest you allow yourself two hours on our site to see all we have to offer.
Reservations
Reservations are not required. However, we would request groups of 10 or more pre-register in advance of their arrival. This allows our staff to be prepared for your group.

Avalon archeological dig, Ferryland, Newfoundland. For your convenience we
