The Colony of Avalon Gift Shop, situated near the Interpretation Centre in Ferryland, offers a unique shopping experience -

The shop boasts a number of archaeological reproductions as well as heritage-themed gifts.

Colony of Avalon Gift Shop

Under the direction of the Gift Shop Committee, local artists and crafts people are developing and creating products which embrace the area's history, natural environment, and culture. All items are screened and carefully selected to ensure they are representative of our unique site. The shop features antique furniture on which products are displayed. These pieces have been loaned or donated to the Colony of Avalon Foundation.

The drive down the Southern Shore to the archaeological dig at Ferryland becomes a journey to the past. One enters into a shopping experience that no mall store or city boutique can hope to provide.
